“All Schools Can Reopen.” Good Luck With That New York!
Gov. Cuomo gave the all-clear for kids to head back into the nation’s largest school system. Now the real shitshow begins.

On Friday morning, Gov. Andrew “Big Man on Campus” Cuomo gave a largely-ceremonial thumbs up to New York’s schools, as the state has maintained a 1% positivity rate of coronavirus infection. (Tests must remain below 5% for at least two weeks in order for schools to remain open.) But it will be up to Mayor Bill “Big In Only the Literal Sense” DeBlasio to determine if, when, and how these schools will reopen.
