The cruelty.” This week, a 13th attendee at the Rose Garden ceremony tested positive for Covid-19. More cases may still come.
Meanwhile, millions of Americans like Lombardi, who had to miss her daughter’s wedding earlier this summer, have dutifully made sacrifices in the name of public health, “We didn’t get our Rose Garden celebration,” Lombardi writes. “We’ll get over that loss too. But what do I do with my rage?”
