Joe Biden’s tenure as President hasn’t exactly been the landmark, F.D.R. adjacent Presidency the pundit class would have liked the American people to believe it was going to be. Particularly now, with the covid-19 relief bill now becoming a distant memory from months and months ago with little being done since, his poll numbers have certainly been hurting. Recently, The Washington Post published an article entitled ‘Frustration is at an all-time high’: Behind Biden’s falling poll numbers.

After discussing how Mondale Robinson — founder of the Black Male Voter Project who helped deliver Georgia for the President — thought the case would be a lot harder to make now after he abandoned the $15 minimum wage and policing reform among other things, Cleve R. Wootson Jr. went on to write:

After an initial burst of support, Biden has seen his approval ratings fall significantly in recent months. A Washington Post average of polls since the start of September shows 44 percent of Americans approve of Biden’s job approval, while 49 percent disapprove…

Wootson went on to say:

“…Interviews with nearly 20 advocates, activists and politicians in the crucial state of Georgia — which Biden won narrowly, in large part because of support from Black voters, after decades of Republican dominance — give a sense of the sentiments behind those numbers. At the center are Black and other minority voters who helped fuel Biden’s victory but who now see what they consider unfulfilled promises and dwindling hope for meaningful change.”

Unfulfilled promises and dwindling hope for meaningful change…

That just about sums up the Democratic party for the past forty years, doesn’t it?

Frankly, I’m not sure how many red flags and warnings the Democratic party needs before they realize what is coming if something doesn’t change. How many more times does it…
