The first rule of the veepstakes is “do no harm.” And Joe Biden didn’t shake things up — he chose Sen. Kamala Harris as his vice presidential candidate in a smooth rollout yesterday afternoon. But, as Jessica Valenti warns us of Trump’s inevitable response, “be prepared: The attacks on Harris are going to be horrible.”
