Cab is owning up to a career of working as a “bastard cop.” For nearly 10 years he served as a police officer in a major metropolitan area in California, where cops routinely hassled homeless people or arrested people for sport. “As ashamed as I am to admit it, it needs to be said: stripping people of their freedom felt like a game to me for many years,” he writes.
