President Trump officially filled a third seat in the U.S. Supreme Court, cementing a conservative supermajority for years to come. The U.S. Senate voted on Monday 52–48 to confirm Amy Coney Barrett to the bench and replace the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. It is “the first time in 151 years that a justice was confirmed without a single vote from the minority party,” the New York Times reported.
