For years we have heard the usual spiel about how the West belongs to some bygone era. It is easy to look at superficial statistics and conclude the West has fallen behind but both the coronavirus pandemic and the Russian invasion of Ukraine have demonstrated that the West is still top of the game.

Look at how vaccination failed in both China and Russia. In China, it was because they could not research a high-quality vaccine. Now COVID19 is starting to spread like crazy and people don’t have proper immunity.

In Russia, the disease spread because people did not trust a government that has been lying to them for decades. The Sputnik jab proved ineffective against resistant Russians:

“The authorities lie to us on all sorts of subjects. Why should we believe them on vaccination?”
